Good summary.
For me Moseby has the tenure and was a core part of the Jays evolving from an also-ran to a contender. Those mid 80s teams with Bell/Moseby/Barfield/McGriff/etc changed the culture of the team and paved the way for the additional champion squads.
Wells was great, but those teams underachieved and he never seemed to be a great leader to me. I admit though my view of him is clouded, at least somewhat, by that terri-bad contract.
