At the end of the show, host Jude Law said (while embracing Simpson) something like: "What can I say. It's live television." Simpson (who seemed to have been crying) then proceeded to apologize to the audience and said: "They played the wrong song."

I thought she was blaming the person that pressed the play button on the CD...the band looked to be faking it too - they were innocent bystanders
