Who cares about all the past things Ference did, for the most part he was well respected by teams and fans (especially here). The "Stempniak bead down" come on, this is a low even for you. Ference knew what he was doing when that happened, he was fighting someone smaller then him who isn't a fighter just to prove he's "a big man" it only proved that he's a chicken $&!+ who goes after smaller non-fighters. It would be like Gaudreau fighting a 5 year old to prove he's tough. It doesn't prove anything except you're a better fighter than the person you just fought (and in Ference's case, it's someone who doesn't fight but gets a lot more points and is a better player).
Context on Ference:
He's a cowardly feminine hygiene product who'll fight people smaller than him and now he's the captain (for now) of our hated rival.

There was a stretch of 18 games that Stempniak was a better player than Ference other than that Ference would be better for the other 880 regular season games and especially his 120 playoff games.
