Bandwagoners are part of sports - not everyone is going to be an avid, die-hard fan. It's okay.

And baseball might have a bigger chasm than most sports because, with 162 games, and the playoffs being fairly rare, the casual fan isn't brought in to the fold as often.

Whereas, for serious fans, it's an everyday thing. It's about the rhythm and the history of the game. It's possible to watch a team through thick and thin.

Yes, the bandwagoners will probably disappear as fast as they came, but it's okay. I don't get why people complain about it.

I have been a die-hard fan of both the Expos and the Jays from day one. And at times, that's been a lonely experience. I like it when they become popular because now other people want to talk baseball with me again.
