Kind of glad to see I'm not the only one that goes through printers like that. What is it with that crap? Can't a reasonably priced printer be made to last more than a year?? I dont even use the damn things much either. Gotta say though, while they worked (gone through epson, canon, hp), they worked really well for printing photos, and the most I ever spent was maybe $150.00 for one. Like table said though, the trick is good paper. In my experience, by the time I calculated cost for paper, ink, and printer itself, getting them printed by a finisherwas much cheaper, even though doing at home is kind of fun.

The printer I have right now (Epson 777) still works fine after a few years of having it but my scanner is pretty old and both take up alot of space so I decided to get a printer/scanner. I saw the deal at Futureshop and couldnt pass it up.
