No need to bring that spotlight back into the lockerroom for no reason other than nostalgia.

Disagree. A 40 year old Iggy, in my opinion, will be a very useful player. Mind you, a 40 year old Iggy is not a 26 year old Iggy, but a valuable piece that could be very useful in the playoffs.

Purely speculative with zero substantiation, just something to be considered.
Is it worth the risk? Over say Porier or Klimchuk or someone of that ilk on the cusp and missing out of a spot due to Jarome being back?..
I hate so say but my favorite player of all time doesn't have a spot on the Flames ever again, I feel.

Disagree again. You can bet your ass Ray Bourque didn't think he was going to take Sakic's team away from him. And Ray Bourque is a legend among legends when it comes to leaders in the NHL. Having said that, having a Ray Bourque in the room was a positive thing, not negative.
Iggy left. He gone. Totally different team nowadays. Iggy knows this, Gio knows this, everyone knows this. Iggy isn't going to comeback and feel he is the new leader. When he left in 2013, he knew he'd never be the go-to guy for leadership ever again on any team. If he comes back at 40, it'll be a nice treat for the fans, but for the players and club, it'll just be an experienced forward who will contribute offensively, that is all.
