Stajan has been what the team has needed him to be since he got here. He's inspired, been clutch when he needs to be, and been one of the vets that seems to keep the team together. Depending on the night, Stoll could be on any number of lines...and you don't want that in the dressing room.

The Flames missed the playoffs every year since Stajan joined them.... up til last year.
He has been on 2 of the worst teams in Flames history.... resulting in the Monahan and then Bennett draft picks.
He is a good 4th line centre, but is likely the most expensive #4 in the league. Absolutely no one expects him to be in the top 6.
His career earnings far exceed his on-ice contributions by a wide margin.... His agent likely uses him as an example of how good an agent and negotiator he is when he recruits new clients.
