Adopted daughter I believe. Not that it really makes it better. But since it was a kidnap anyway, he probably groomed her. Maybe a plan from the start.
Also, maybe I got it wrong.
Just finally got to the finale today. I must say, I really liked it, though I was disappointed it ended on a sad note. There were a few times I moved to the edge of my seat, so a job well done.
Also I really liked the juxtaposition of the scenery of three main characters at the end. Didn't go through the last 3 pages before replying so I don't know if it was brought up, but there was some serious imagery there. Picked it up right away. Frank in a dessert, Ray in a forest, and Mesacan't spell it on the ocean. Interesting imagery there. If I take a second look I wonder if there is another layer, something to do with their personalities.
A great finale. The series as a whole gets a bump for it. Still worse than the first, obviously. Still disjointed in parts and the acting wasn't always solid. But a good show. Would recommend.
Maybe the best thing to do is recommend the second one first, then the first one second.
