Pretty good deal. I think MS's costs 60 bucks for 2 years. But like you said, it is a pain shipping it out to get replaced and you don't know if they'll fix yours, replace it with a refurbished box or give you a new one.

I orignally bought the 3 year warranty at Futureshop but after reading some of the horror stories about their 360 warranty I decided to cancel before the 30 days to cancel came up and got the Microsoft warranty for the same price per year.
The thing I like about Microsoft's warranty is I can have it under warranty for as long as I have it unlike Futureshop where once the three years is up that's it. I know that chances are if I take good care of it I may never have to send it in but it's nice to have some security in case it does happen to die one day. Either way I would be sending it out to get fixed/replaced so that part doesnt concern me.
