There is an optometrist in Southcentre (Southcentre Optometry) that are located on the lover level near the professional offices. Right at the end of the hallway where Sport Check is. Very good and professional office, and all very up to date equipment. They've always treated me & my family very well. They are independant (not part of a chain).
