Really? This is a terrible way to approach your voting decision. The consequences are literally the only thing that matters. If the best consequences would result from their election, it really shouldn't matter whether you find the party's identity likeable. I know that in the real world this isn't how it goes, but for someone to provide that quote in a self-aware manner... that's indefensible.
