I have a closet with a number of jerseys that have players no longer with the team. So, when it came time for a new shiny one, this is what I did. I chose a home jersey. Put my own name on it, the last 2 numbers of my birth year and a "C" on my chest....because I can be captain if I want to be
The team won't trade me anytime soon so there's relevance for years to come.
