The video is suspicious. What is the green line all across the sharks body and the dark blue colour of the shark's skin, something aren't right.
The shark's move was moving slightly but the tail came off real quick. Looks like the shark had been dead for a while now so its mouth shouldn't be moving.
Then the vast amount of water coming out, I don't know something is weird here.
But then even if it is real, what are you going to do when you caught a shark? Just let it die on dry land isn't anymore humane by my book.

They're filter feeders who ingest vast amounts of water and then filter out the small fish and krill. Largest mouth of any fish. Their body actually functions as a pump system that can suck water in, unlike most filter feeders who depend on forward movement in the water to pass water through them. I'm not at all surprised that if you cut one in half, large amounts of water gush out.
I'm not sure about the green marks, but given that they're primarily along the raised ridges on the whale shark's side and back, they could have been from any sort of struggle with something painted or dyed... netting, the side of a boat, etc.
