Quite simply the Rebels were robbed. They scored a perfectly good goal with a little over a minute left only for the referee to mysteriously disallow it. No reason whatsoever for it. Apparently he told Sutter that he "didn't see it."

Jagger, the Fan broadcast had the PA announcement of no goal because the whistle went. It was a quick whistle because the ref lost site of it. The Rebels still deserved to win the game because they outplayed the hitmen for the most part but Bowles held his team in again. These last few games the Hitmen shouldn't have had 1 point nevermind 2 but because of Bowles they are winning. This should remind you of what Cam Ward did for the Rebels for a few years...stealing his team some wins...and No I'm not comparing Bowles to Ward.
