Bottom line is that this was an otherwise really good team that blatantly lacked a true #1. By adding Price and bolstering the bullpen, the Jays have to be considered as good as any team in the American League.
Is it too late to catch the Yankees? Probably. But with wildcards, who really cares? Just get in.

Dickey has a team option that I would expect to be picked up, even if they are able to re-sign Price which I am trying to be realistic about but if ever there was a guy I wanted them to open the vault for ... and with Buehrle's money coming off the books ...
As for the Yankees, man they're playing good but the Jays do have 13 games left against them ... I know it's not probable but it's possible.
