Hannibal is by far and away my favorite show on right now, but I understand it's not for everyone.
I'd say I'm enjoying Halt and Catch Fire more too though.
As far as the last episode went, the whole party scene really bugged me. Not because of the subject material, just because it seemed disjointed and not entirely accurate. The score was playing way too loud over the top of the scene and was as annoying as unnecessarily 'dramatic'. Bezzedries reaction to the drug she took seemed to make no sense for two reasons. One, if it really was ecstacy it wouldn't make you react like that, and two, even if it was some cocktail disguised as E her reaction still didn't come close to the other girls.
I'd have to watch it again to pick out other parts, it's been a week now. I just know it left me feeling like they really messed up. It was obviously supposed to be a big scene, a crescendo of sorts, and I just felt let down.
