Because this generation has grown up immersed in an era where privacy is largely an illusion. They just accept it, largely.
A simple comparable would be seat belt use. I grew up with it from birth, to the point where I am uncomfortable if I don't put the belt on as the first thing I do after getting in the car. But my parents' generation, and even more significantly, my grandparents, always found it to be a nuisance.
