Cosby and Ghomeshi, but those aren't the only ones. Look at issues such as police brutality against blacks in the U.S. It's been an issue for years but is finally getting the attention it deserves largely because of social media. Hell, look at the Steubenville and Marysville rape cases, towns that were shamed for their actions and the failures of the authorities and citizens of those towns. The Chick-fil-A homophobic employment policies was another one.
