This is disgusting. Baiting the lion and luring it out of the park is so wrong. This guy deserves to have his life ruined.

If he broke any laws in Zimbabwe, he should be extradited back there and deal with this a man, not hide in America.

Like others and experts have said, it is likely that Cecil's 6 cubs will be killed. So he could have in effect killed 7 lions.

How can anyone see this as being ok whether it was legal or not?

Again, I have no sympathy for him. Those yelp posts are great. He chose to post pictures of himself with his kills for the public to see. He chose to ruin his reputation by these actions and if his career and practice are destroyed, it is his own fault. That is the world we live in, people need be aware that their every move they make is being watched and I don't mean by the authorities.

He doesn't deserve the death threats or physical harm but I am ok with his reputation being destroyed and his business taking a big hit. Maybe he will serve time in jail too if he is found guilty in Zimbabwe and is extradited.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything the American judicial system can do about this at all.
