Yeah, I don't care who the player is, those quotes would make anyone look bad. What was he thinking? Sadly I think this just gives us more insight into the team's failure over the years.
You can't have your supposed leader and ambassador saying stuff like that, you just can't. It's embarrassing. He's pretty much publically questioning his bosses, just like last deadline.
There was some good times for sure, but it's time to trade this guy IMO. Tulo, JD and Martin is a great core to build an offense around, they really don't "need" Bautista as much as they used to. Perhaps that was the real purpose behind the trade in the first place? A first move, in a series of many before the start of 2016? I really hope so, because I am getting TIRED of Jose Bautista being the face of the team... or even on the team at all to be honest. I appreciate the guy's accomplishments, I just find him hard to cheer for due to his personality/demeanor. I am feeling very encouraged by this move assuming there are more to follow that continue to move the team in a different direction.
