That Twitter account is either someone trolling them, or they really need to hire a "crisis management" PR firm ASAP (which they probably should do either way).
Of all the ways they could have responded to this, that's probably the worst possible way (shutting the #### up and waiting a few weeks until the internet gets outraged about something else is probably the best way to react).
