Poaching can be hard on your pocketbook. Two men recently pleaded guilty to fishing in closed waters and unlawful possession of fish in the Lethbridge area. Jacob Giesbrecht was in possession of six fish (two walleye and four goldeye) and received a $2,000 fine and a one-year recreational licence suspension. Isaac Dyck was in possession of 12 fish (two sauger, four walleye and eight goldeye) and received a $3,850 fine and a one-year recreational licence suspension.
