Did you know he has 6 goals and 16 assists in his last FIVE years of hockey? Yup, 22 points in five years. 4.4 points per year in the minor leagues. No-one with that poor of offensive talent ever makes the NHL. Joni Ortio has 6 points in that same time frame for comparison.

Also on a slight tangent, the Flames under Treliving have yet to draft (yes only 2 years thus far I know) a stay at home defenceman with limited offensive upside in the early or mid rounds. Ollas-Mattson and Bruce have been late round picks and there have been a few tryouts (Yevenko, Prolux, etc).
Quickly scanning Phoenix's draft record while Treliving was there, they didn't seem to pick any of those type of players either unless they were late round.
Perhaps that trend will continue.
