I keep seeing this, but where is it coming from? If i recall correctly he was under contract in Russia. Imo management likely sees him playing in Russia for a couple years as a good place for him to develop for a few years while we have no better place to put him. I think until he is a couple years older and can compete for a higher spot in the ahl and be on the radar for a call up, that the Flames won't be concerned with him not being over here.
I think this stigma is continually over blown, and him not coming to NA is not a concern for me at all. If he continues to progress and looks to be a potential piece then the flames will get him over. Let him grow and go from there.
