In my opinion a complete waste of a draft pick. Why even draft a guy whose upside is #6 defenseman. You can pick one of those guys up for close to league minimum every year in free agency. Heck, you can invite two or three of them to camp on PTOs and pick the best of the bunch and commit nothing to them until they prove something.
Sieloff has only played 157 games total (including playoffs) in any league in the last 5 years. That's simply not enough games during the most crucial formative years for him to ever get to the next level. If his body holds up he can maybe be a career AHLer or play in Europe.
Maybe I'm the one completely out to lunch on this guy, but I just don't get it. He has had a ton of support on CP over the years, but I sure can't figure out what people like about him. Other than the prospects who've left for careers in Europe (Billins and Wolf), he'll be at the last guy I vote for.
I hope I'm wrong and he has a great year though!

I keep seeing people say he's not big enough to play that physical style, and I really don't get it. He's 6'1" and built like a running back, and consistently in the top-end on the physical testing. He had a few freak incidents that made him miss a large amount of playing time, but I hardly think that makes him fragile.
