Fans on Chicago fan forums are laughing at this contract...heck, most of them bitch about paying Crawford $6million per, and HIS name is on 2 Cups! Holtby has won NOTHING that matters, and I would imagine, that if he played for a team in the West, that he wouldn't be getting much more than 3 to 4 million. IMO, it's a little funny how East Coast Press hype overinflates player's perceived values. Example: P.K. Subban, A couple of 1st place finishes, but, little playoff success for his team, and the guy is getting a $9 million cap hit contract that pays a couple of $11million seasons! That seems like a lot of cash tied up in ONE guy, for a team that needs other improvements.
