If you want to make these kinds of small sample, early career arguments over stats, and just cherry pick the ones you like, how about these (just NHL):
2011: 0%
2012: 3.8%
2014: 6.1%
2015: 15.4%
clearly a nice steady progression.
or how about this:
2013: 14.1% (Abbottsford)
2014: 6.1%
2015: 15.4%
clearly from that we can conclude that he was just
unlucky in 2014
