Plenty of BRT routes on the Horizon, those buses aren't going anywhere.

The seven transit routes council approved Friday:

Southeast “Green line” transit-only roadway and lanes, along the future LRT corridor

Centre Street “Green line” bus-only lanes, though future LRT may go up Edmonton Trail instead

Southwest transitway from downtown to Mount Royal University, Rockyview General Hospital, Woodlands

17th Avenue S.E. transitway

South crosstown BRT, in mixed traffic (Quarry Park to Heritage LRT to MRU to Westbrook)

North crosstown BRT, in mixed traffic (University of Calgary down 16th Avenue to Rundlehorn Drive and Saddletowne LRT)

Northwest “hub” to U of C, Foothills Hospital, Alberta Children’s Hospital, future West Campus neighbourhood
