I talked to them when I was thinking of knocking down my place and building an infill in Inglewood. Toured their facility and saw a couple of places under construction, they seemed to be pretty on the ball and had everything worked out. And I really like the idea of prefab and the quality of construction you can get with it. But when I ran the numbers, their $/sq ft was just out of whack compared to custom builders. For the base level of finish, I couldn't figure out how they couldn't get their costs down when the vast majority of the work was being executed in climate controlled comfort by their own trades.
Nice guys, great product, but I think their niche is definitely more the vacation home market than urban infills.
