Given the full off season where he stayed in Calgary all summer to train with the Flames strength and conditioning coach Ryan van Asten will be a major help to his progress as a pro.

If he comes back to the point where his world fell apart in 2013 he is liable to be this year's Josh Jooris.

No, I believe the decision was whether or not he was ready for the AHL at 19. The issue with Seiloff is that he was already physically ready to make the jump. He just needed playing time to round out his game. Of all our prospects, Seiloff was probably tops in terms of just needing to get pro games under his belt. The injury really messed that up for him and put his development to a halt.
