Let's see...

- strong mobility, average size
- solid defensively
- likes to carry the puck up the ice and join the rush
- 0.5 PPG as a rookie defenseman in the AHL
- can score goals (4 goals in 26 AHL games - what Culkin and Wotherspoon have combined in 146 AHL games)
- only defenseman in this NHL game to not be a minus

vs

- has some legitimate speed
- can seriously score goals
- good defensively, can be a PK specialist
- 1.5 PPG as an 18 year old in the OHL
- reads plays nicely, good vision
- Puck always seems to find him and not let go
