When did those guys fellate the Oilers to the point where they are predicting a cup? Must've missed that.

That man can pin you down on midget to minor hockey trivia/knowledge all around the country let alone just the NHL. Then there's the NHL! man alive there's not more than 5 or 6 people you can have access to that know more about the game..
He knows about hockey in general, yes. He's very book smart with an encyclopedic knowledge of history and he is a great story teller. I have listened to him my whole life as well. I just don't value his opinions on the way the NHL runs or predicting success/failure of teams. My favorite is his interviews with Bettman, a lot of his shortcomings are really exposed there. Just like if you got him in a room with NHL GMs, or even a bunch of hardcore fans, I'd bet he'd be out of his element discussing team composition, salary cap, strategy, who is good, who is not, trade values, etc. He has his strengths, he has his weaknesses... apparently knowing what pieces a team needs to become a contender is not one of his strengths. Or he's just an Edmonton fan that can't suppress his bias.

Yes, I heard you the first time. It's a very funny and original joke.
