Lol at "he puts the majority of us to shame". Based on what? Because he's a talking head on TV? Because he is THE Ron McLean? Well, I disagree, so what? It's an opinion I've had of him for a while. He's not an analyst, he's a host, and for a reason. He controls other personalities (does this very well) while offering no real insight. And now he comes out with the rest of them, slobbering on the Oiler's junk, well hooray for him.
So what if I think this? What do you care? You his little brother or something? My opinion is fueled by his opinion, it's funny how that works. When you say stupid shiat, people tend to call you out on it, Ron McLean is no different. Maybe you have some examples of rational hockey insight he's had, or even some previous predictions that have come true, that would balance out his asinine prediction?
He either thinks McDavid will solve everything or that Chiarelli will make all the right moves, guaranteed. There is NOTHING there at the moment that makes me believe either/both scenarios are likely, especially within 2-4 years. To me he sounds like a fanboy you'd come across at HF saying stuff like that. Obviously he's more knowledgeable than that... I think.
