If you want to look at Iginla and constants, look at 16 years of leading the team in almost every category. The guy did absolutely all he could for this team as a player, and as a captain.

Gio is a good captain but without a Jack Adams level coach and some stud young talent he's got the exact same issues Iginla had -- a team that isn't good enough to compete at the highest level.

I'm still in disbelief the anti-Iginla conversation gets any traction here. Pure garbage.

And to add: How does Jokinen not being good enough becomes Iginla's fault too? Thread took a strange turn.
