What Hitch shop would you recommend for me to get a custom hitch built? I have a new motorhome, which came with a 1 1/4 inch class 1 hitch receiver. Tongue weight of 200lbs.
I have no plans on towing anything, but I do have a bike rack that has a 2" insert. I like to haul 4 bikes on trips. 2 road, 2 mountain, and there isn't a 1 1/4 inch hitch rack that will accommodate 4 bikes nicely. ie, Kuat NV with add on is only 2 inch, Thule t2 with add on is only 2 inch, etc. I don't want to attach to the frame of my bikes. The closest I can get is the 1up USA with 2 add ons for 3 bikes total.
I know you can get extensions, 1 1/4 to 2 inch, but that's putting the bikes further away, with more stress on the receiver.
