No. And height and weight is useless; a guy your height and weight could be a 36 or a 42, it's meaningless information for these purposes.
First of all, whatever you do, buy a jacket where the shoulders fit. Everything else can be fixed, within reason.
In terms of chest size, the label is just sort of an approximate guess. What you really want to do is find a jacket that actually fits (if you don't know what that feels or looks like, find someone who does to tell you), and then measure armpit to armpit. Then you'll be in pretty good shape to determine whether a future jacket will fit.
