Both signed their qualifying offers.

I've always wondered this and never asked, perhaps someone here knows. In signings of this nature, why does someone like Bill Arnold make less on his 2way than BVB? Arnold is the more highly rated prospect and I would argue probably means "more" to the franchise having been drafted and brought alone all these years while BVB was a more recent free agent signing. It just seems so random to have one potentially making 50k more than the other when neither have proven anything yet. I see it all the time where a handful of prospects/young players in similar career situations/talent sign and they are generally for differing amounts. Why would unknowns like this not all have the same/similar qualifying offers. Is it just the work of their agent negotiating better deals or what?

Thanks in advance.
