Yeah, considering the amount of filming they did here it's no surprise.
This trailer is sort of what I wanted. They're not shying away from the dramatic side of what made Deadpool Deadpool. While I understand there will be a huge focus on his humour, if they approach the scenes with Copycat with the same seriousness that they were approached in the Comics, I will be incredibly pleased.
The big issue I had with the run after Cable & Deadpool ended was that Deadpool became one joke that kept repeating the same punch line. There was no reason for any of it, just a character that wanted to do slapstick things. I think Way's dream job was actually writing the character Slapstick, but he got given Deadpool and decided to just go about doing that with what he was given.
