I think that has a lot to do with Andersson being a safer pick. They probably see the low side as a mid pairing dman or third pairing with offensive upside. Kylington floor is probably a lot lower then that, but his upside is also greater than Andersson. I think they just opted for the safe pick and then when the opportunity came they took that swing for the fences.
