Adding Hamilton really made the Flames top 5 and even 6 with Engelland top notch but Nadakal/Wotherspoon/Morrison/Sieloff are looking going to get an unearned opportunity.
It will be interesting if the extra forwards are converted to an emerging d-man and how long the Flames wait to sign Schlemko or equivalent to be the #7 d-man

How is it "unearned" when every one of those guys was drafted or signed as UFA with the intention of giving them a chance to "earn" a spot on the team?
