As for your other part, I'm not sure what Burke had to do with Brodie, Giordano, Monahan, Gaudreau, Hudler, Backlund, Ramo, Hartley, Bouma, etc. I do give Burke full credit for hiring Treliving and for getting a 2nd for Berra.

Either way, it was a tongue in cheek comment. Burke is Treliving's boss. Treliving does not have any influence over Burke's place in the organizaton.
