Tell me which prospect pool you would rather have. Doesn't always mean it they will be the better AHL squad. Will be interesting to see how Stockton does, however.

I'm pretty sure Adirondack was a pretty lethal team when they had steady goaltending. After Ortio went down they didn't have any real veteran goalies to keep them in it. Hopefully with the added depth (including in goal) Stockton can become that powerhouse team.
But yes the success of Utica was 100% due to the veteran AHLers, whereas Adirondack didn't really go out for another Kris Kolanos type player and just let the youngsters take the reins.
