Here's my breakdown of each group
A
Sieloff - He has a really good shot, but is very average outside of that. Not much different than Ramage except his shot.
Klimchuk - Very linear player that does what needs doing. Very accurate shot, picked many corners. His shot will make him a 15+ goal scorer in the NHL.
Andersson - Not very noticeable at either end of the ice. Not surprising because it's his first camp.
Carroll - He will be an NHL player at some point. Good depth mucker with skill. Think Ferland.
Hathaway - I don't recall seeing him.
Mattsson - He didn't stand out much, which is neither good or bad.
Toth - Walk On Goalie. He was okay.
Smith - He's bigger than this time last year. Still could get slightly faster, but he's right on track.
Kanzig - The most improved player from last year. His foot speed has improved and looks competent and composed defensively.
Jankowski - By far the best player today. Hands are as quick as his mind and he uses both effectively to give the defense and goalies fits. He is fast on his feet as well. Nice to see. Can't wait to see him in a Flames jersey.
Marcotte - Looked skilled, but didn't stand out as being particularly special.
Karnaukhov - See Marcotte.
Bruce - He's strong, but needs a lot of work like Kanzig did when he was picked.
