Monahan 20 years old 2 NHL season 156 games 53 goals 96 pts #1C and #1 forward in TOI.

If Monahan just hold steady with the same season as he had in 2014-15 he statistically is significantly ahead of Taresenko.

8 yrs at at least 8M??
So in his first 23 games next year Monahan has to put up 39 points in order to even have the same pace as Tarasenko. You think he will be that 135 point center every team needs next year? Or will he just have a lightning start and then cool off to a. 8 PPG pace? Because to get the same ppg as Tarasenko over his first two seasons Monahan has to basically get around 100 points next season.

That being said Treliving has to lockdown Monahan and Gaudreau, those have to be the priorities. Everyone else on the team is are much much lower priorities.
