So no one here has ever had a job where they didn't get along with their boss and they quit to go work somewhere else? Never knew of a friend or family member that did that? Just so weird to me that some of you have taken such a stance on the guy when you've never met him and you don't even know what actually happened. Seems like being close to his family in Connecticut played a major role in where he was traded and his retirement when most thought he was still capable of playing. Apparently no one here has felt slighted in a situation at work. If your close to the end of your career I'm sure a lot of people would have the feeling of screw this I'm gonna do what makes me happy. These guys aren't doing me any favors so I'm gonna do what's best for me. Seems like normal human EMOTION. Sometimes we act out of it. Doesn't make you a terrible person. I'll admit I fell into the crowd that thought it was a bit childish but then I realized I actually don't know what happened and even if it was what people speculate that's just a regular situation that most people deal with in their profession. I'm sure most of us if we had the opportunity would act on it. People usually put their own happiness and the happiness of their family first. Marty quitely asked for a trade, left and went and played hockey.
