It's the things Shore does... He shoots hard when it's appropriate, he gives the puck up when it's prudent, and he retrieves the puck with good board play. It's hard to explain, and the results don't back up the method for him, but it's an ability to generate chemistry with his linemates that guys like Shore and Poirier have shown in their limited time here that Colborne hasn't shown in his two years here. It might be something as simple as this quick feed to Jooris where he wastes no time with the puck, and then proceeds to follow the rebound:

Colborne has a high skill level but his execution is more mechanical than Shore. There're parts of Shore's game that obviously need work, but his instincts are strong.
