Especially this time of year, you are likely going to find yourself lower on the priority list if you didn't buy the trailer from wherever you take it. If it's repairs that can wait until fall, I'd suggest waiting.

The other thing to maybe try- go into a few places and ask to speak to a manager. Tell them you are looking to have your tent trailer fixed; because you are looking to sell it and to upgrade. Tell them part of your buying decision is to see who has good service departments. You might have better luck that way.
