Had my furnace damaged by a water loss in my basement. Furnace heats basement and main floor. Upstairs is on its own furnace. Looking for suggestions/comments/advice.
1) Because much of the basement will be opened up for the rebuild in any event, do you have any suggestions re: ductwork or anything else we should be looking at when doing a new furnace?
2) Anything we should be looking out for when we look at furnace options?
3) A few months ago you recommended these brands, in this order: Carrier, Bryant PAyne, American standard and trane and Napoleon. Has anything changed?
4) Hot water tank damaged as well. Should we go 2 medium ones or 1 big one?
5) Most important: Do you sell/install furnaces? How about in Edmonton?
Appreciate the advice as always.
