Flames have probably already reached out to Hudlers agent to see what he is looking for. Unfortunatley they need to know what Jonny and Monny are looking for first. They are the priority in forward ranks.

I don't think Glencross is the best example if we are talking about trading Hudler at the deadline. Glencross was not doing much for the flames at the time and they didnt miss a beat without him. Taking out Hudler , if he is still playing well, would probably be a whole different ball game. Yes return would be good , but is it more important than making the playoffs, or taking the next step in the playoffs? Its a hard question to answer for me. I would trade him , if they are not re-singing him, but i would understand if they think playoffs and next step is more valuable.
