IA has claimed that the uncertainty Glendale's actions have created has directly impacted season ticket sales, advertising, sponsorships, etc. And, of course, direct legal costs.
From Glendale's position, I have a hard time believing they could successfully force the team to repay for services already rendered. I'm sure they can try, but the end result of that is the team just says 'no' and leaves Glendale with an empty arena. That's the big stick the Coyotes hold.
